Was a good striker, like Nolan, lost his legs, is 4th choice, so is really only there when the others are tired in the last 1/4 of the game, chased a lot, must have been knackered

Have to be careful blaming the forward for the lack of supply to him. I thought he was okay, clearly not in great form, but then neither is anyone in the team right now. Needs a run of games to judge him properly, but he's unlikely to ever get one.

Agree he's a bit of a plodder. I thought he was at Everton, let alone now - never been much of an athlete. He is what he is. I wouldn't say he was that much worse than anyone else in the shirt today.

Sadly he was only 30 in the summer but looks as if his legs have gone already.
Clearly worse than Carlton and if he cost more than we recoiled for Maiga that doesn't look too clever business either.

I suppose he was brought for a back up to andy carroll (who also doesn't work in our system), so who is the back up for Sakho,? who is now out for ages.
Play valencia up top in his place or get someone else in Jan who can. These big slow fowards dont work for us now unless late off the bench.

He's like LARD ARSE Nolan - reaches 30 and then suddenly goes downhill... Was decent still about 3 or 4 years ago but he's had it now...
LARD ARSE Nolan was still decent enough at 29 and then he deteriorated with alarming effect...
You get players that do that (regardless of position) - perhaps it's a genetic thing or they're simply not natural athletes or they just age badly, I don't know...
